Do you have a bag that you want to make but just do not have the confidence to tackle yourself? You are unable to attend some of the scheduled classes. Well then, this is the class for you. This class will be set up like an open sew but for the bag makers. Pat will aid you in figuring out all that fine print on a pattern so you can turn those unfinished bags into completed creations. Your project must be a bag that Pat has previously made at Up Yur Quilt. Click on the class and you will find a link to see all the bags to choose from.
PIP Mondays. Come in and get those PhD's (projects half done) finished! This class does not have a designated teacher but provides a place to come meet new and like minded individuals that love to sew along side you. The classes are from 10am to 3pm and purchased in four week blocks for $50. Join in anytime!
Fun and Done Club, come in every Monday evening to work on your projects in progress. This class will be hosted by seamstress / quilter Virginia. Virginia has acquired a lifetime of knowledge which includes, garments and many quilting techniques. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and watching those beginning their journey develop into accomplished sewing quilters, as well as working with those who are experienced. Virginia can help with piecing, paper piecing, applique, walking foot quilting, cathedral style quilting, and layering the 3 pieces (quilt top, batting & backing) in preparation for stitching. Virginia is trained and holds a "Teaching the Adult Learner" certificate for College level instruction. She is happy to have coffee, tea and cookies ready for you. Class is from 6 pm to 9 pm and purchased in four-week blocks for $75. She would love to have you join us. Join in anytime!
